What are the specifications of SimRig The Classroom Ambulance Trainer
SimRig The Classroom Ambulance Trainer is 144" inches long, 103" high and 96" wide. These specifications were created to match the actual specifications of an ambulance while still being able to be built inside a training center. Both our classroom and mobile ambulances can also be customized to fit your school district or counties specifications.

Why would I choose the Mobile Ambulance Trainer over the Classroom Trainer?
SimRig The Mobile Ambulance Trainer was specifically created for EMS educators traveling to multiple training locations. Students training with the Mobile Ambulance Trainer will get to experience the full effect of responding to calls in a variety of settings and climate conditions.

Do I have to install the Classroom SimRig myself? And how long does it take?
No! We have a team of expert installers that will travel to your location and install the SimRig at your training center. All of the components of the SimRig are designed to fit through any standard sized doorway. Once our team arrives onsite your Ambulance Trainer will be ready in 2-3 business days.

Where should the Classroom SimRig be positioned in the room?
The SimRig should ideally be placed with the front end against a wall, with at least 2-3 feet of clearance allowed on each side of the unit. We also recommend that the SimRig is only installed in rooms with ceilings taller than 9 feet.

What type of warranty is included?
Both the classroom and mobile SimRig Ambulance Trainers feature a lifetime structural warranty. We also include a five (5) year limited warranty on all other components under normal use.

Does the action control station inside the SimRig actually function?
Yes, all of the electric, exterior code lights, suction and simulated oxygen are functioning. It's our priority to make the ambulance look and function as closely to a road ready ambulance as possible! We also offer a variety of add-ons including a functioning siren, HD color cameras and monitors, as well as additional LED dome lights.

Is SimRig involved in any purchasing contracts?
Yes, we have three contracts with the TIPS cooperative. Our EMS equipment is listed under contract #180102. We are also part of a variety of local and statewide purchasing contracts and participate in all bids. Give us a call at (877) 593-6011 for more information!

Will my current stretcher work with the SimRig's mounting apparatus system?
The SimRig's mounting apparatus will work with any Ferno or Stryker model stretcher with the exception of the Ferno model #28. We can also remove the cot mounting apparatus at your discretion.

Does the SimRig include graphics?
Yes, our standard graphics package includes the ability for you to select two (2) of your school colors for striping, two (2) school logos, and two (2) stars of life. We also offer a deluxe custom graphics package which includes a full custom wrap for either the classroom or mobile Simrig Ambulance Trainer.
